The Texas Transportation Institute released its annual Urban Mobility Report. The results for Dallas were less than encouraging.
Note that the Texas Department of Transportation argues that increasing road capacity would reduce congestion. In other words, we need to build more roads. However, sprawl critics argue that increased road supply simply increases demand for roads. This becomes an emerging theme for our class post Fall Break.
