The PDF attached explains the distribution of wealth in schools, otherwise known as the Robin Hood effect. The article specifically mention Texas and how they ruled the system as unconstitutional. The article looks at the Kirby case and how the Bill was established in 1991. As of right now the schools are financed into a three tier system, which combines all school districts in the county and funded by sales and property taxes. The article then gives a time line of everything that took place with the Robin Hood project to completely understand the situation. Robin hood did not make much change in the equality and distribution in the school districts. I chose this article because it captures every aspect of the Robin hood Bill, the good and the bad, even the untrue. I would address the problem by creating a bill that would allow the choice of where my taxes for schools go. I researched this idea and stumbled upon the voucher system. All of the summaries give good feed back for this idea. The Lord tells us in Acts 7 to educate our minds. We need to do the best we can to educate the next generation.

I think the Texas ISD system is flawed and that the voucher systems allows students to access better education and cultural diversity. Even though the more privileged schools are helping the ones in need, to still does not equal out. This system keeps the poorer schools poor and the richer schools rich. If we could send children to schools outside of their immediate neighborhood it could distribute wealth and help all children obtain a proper education. Proverbs 16:16 says "How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver." The Lord teaches us to value education over money or wealth.
