Christian institutions garnering support in ObamaCare challenge

Three Christian schools have gained allies in their battle against ObamaCare. Schools that are supported by the Supreme Court are Houston Baptist University, East Texas Baptist University, and Westminter Theological Seminary. These schools have appealed the Supreme Court and their plans for their health insurance plans. This ruling said that schools are forced to offer 14 types of contraception spelled out in the HHS mandate of ObamaCare within their health insurance plans. The schools say that the mandate violates their religious freedom.
I chose this article because it is in our backyard. We DBU being a religious school, our religious freedom is our foundation. I also chose this because I believe that all Christian schools should come together and stand on what we believe. Yes society has changed tremendously here in the past couple of years going against the word of GOD, but when the body of believers has a chance to stand on truth and what's right we should all be on one accord.

Wow, I didn't know about this.  ETBU is only 30 minutes from my house.  I'm glad that schools are standing up for their beliefs.  I don't believe it is right for the government to force private schools to provide contraception.  I agree that it violates their religious freedom. I agree that the more schools that come together, the stronger we will be against the ruling.  Unfortunately, many people, including Christians, see nothing wrong with premarital sex.  I do believe that we need to stand on the Word of God, and also show college students God's beautiful plans for marriage. If I was a president of one of these schools, I would want to explain everything to the students.  I wouldn't just tell them premarital sex is wrong, but I would want to explain why and how they can guard against it.  I also believe it would be powerful to show them God's heart for singles and their purity. I find this article to be very interesting and I had no idea. Thanks for sharing!
