I see both sides of this argument. Pro-choice believes that women have the "choice" to abort their baby because it is their life and they can choose how they live it. Pro-life explains that the child, no matter how far along, is a child and a person that God has created.

I agree with Pro-Life over Pro-choice. If Pro-choice believes that everyone should be able to "choose" how their life plays out, then the child should have a choice as well. There is no way that if you asked that child, if it could speak, if it wanted to be aborted or not that it would choose to be aborted. Life is precious and no matter how that child got there him/her is there for a reason and God has a plan for him/her. We shouldn't act like we have the power to tell God who and who shouldn't be on this earth.

Crystal, I agree with you. I am very more Pro-life too. I believe that once a child is conceived, it is a living human being. I like how you said that you can see both sides of this argument. I think seeing both sides is very smart in understanding how both parties think and believe. You're also right that that child doesn't have a voice. Just because the child doesn't have a voice at that current moment doesn't mean it doesn't deserve a chance at life.

I think understanding both sides of this argument would be a good starting point at solving it. Then eventually passing bills that don't allow abortion in all of the states. Faith impacts my answer to this because of the verse in Psalm 139:13-16.

Crystal, I appreciate how you state that even though you do not agree with the values of Pro-choice, you still discuss how you can see where women are coming from.

I too agree with the argument that if women believe pro-choice is what is morally right, than how can they exclude the life a child from that choice entirely. We were not given the power to determine when life is created for a reason. That is God's power and His alone, and we should not strive to imitate that. My faith significantly influences my answer for this reason because I believe that life is a gift given by God no matter the circumstances. Sometimes we may not be able to see God's long term plan for us, but that does not give us the right to take someone's decision of life or death into our own hands. This personally effects my life because I have seen the effects of choosing abortion on friends and family members. It is a hard choice to live with and I believe it is a problem in our society.

Crystal, I believe you are correct.  I understand why Pro-abortion people have strong feelings about someone telling them how and what to do with their bodies because we live in a demorcratic nation.  However, we have a greater responsibility that we owe to our creator as it relates to the taking of a life.  We simply do not have the right to cancel out a life even if it is a part of our body or whether we believe it not yet a life.  God word shines light on that question.
