This article was written by Scott Reitz from the Dallas Observer. In total, this article is approximately six pages long and gives, in full detail, the history, present concerns, and all future options concerning not only the Dallas Farmers Market, but other farmers markets in the surrounding dallas area. Scott gives outstanding detail as the the numerous restrictions that are applied to farmers markets, between the fees and expenses. Scott goes on to reference a Ms. Perry, who is diligently working to de-regulate the farmers market(s), who firmly believes in this community, event, and lifestyle. Perry went ahead and make a detailed list of about nineteen regulations and rules that were destroying the local farmers market economy which, especially at this time when  so much in the farmers market "area" needed fixing.

However, this article was also very detailed in describing exactly what should go into a local farm only farmers market. It's like nothing you've ever seen before. Anyone who is a food junky or can at least appreciate delicious tasking fruits and veggies, would forever appreciate admittance into the farmers markets. Not only that, but one gets to know, personally, the farmers that grow and care for your veggies.
